Photo 134: Train approaching
I was doing some experimentation while taking the Metro yesterday. I wish I did a longer exposure then .4 seconds for a longer train smear, but I was free handing it. I’m lucky the static portions of the shot came out as well as they did. Next time I need a mono- or tri- pod.

I was so in love with this plane when I was a kid. It still gives me a bit of a special feeling down in my pants.

The stage lights are making some interesting things happen in this photo, especially once I adjusted the white balance. The bass itself is looking pretty good.

I like the tower of the Islamic Center peaking over the trees but no other buildings doing so in this shot.

Had to drop down to ISO 1600, but I really like how it turned out. But I’m always a fan of lines going into the horizon.

7 years ago (in just about an hour and a half from when I’m posting this) my life changed forever when Dinah was born. She’s kept me going for 7 years, and hopefully I’ve been doing the same. She’s become an articulate, creative, and caring little girl, a great big sister, and a joy to have around.
