Today I’m trying a non-traditional camera source for the photo of the day: my TiVo. My in-laws were at the game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Tampa Bay Lightning down in Tampa Bay. Â My father in the law is the dude bending down to grin behind the Hawk’s assistant coach, Mike Haviland.
Even though there was a camera man on the other side, I’m calling them my photo of the day because of having to find the right shot, and do a bunch of post-processing to make it look halfway decent. Â This is a LOT cleaner than the original image.

I had time to kill between a conference I was at and my plane ride, so Claire, Melanie, and I went off to Gatorland to see the animals and the Gator Jumparoo show. Â The parrot pictures is my favorite, but here’s some bonus pictures of gators and stuff.
