Previously I put out an early version of my ruby based command line oriented tivo download script.
I’ve had a patch from MARK NOTARUS to make the menu have some more options and I’m using Console::ProgressBar from facets now.
It works well enough for my needs, but let me know if you hit any roadblocks. Just as a reminder, my target was to download stuff off my tivo on one of my headless Linux boxes for batch encoding for my iPhone and/or PSP.

After a bunch of complaints and the fact that the blog was like 80% twitter updates, I have ended the tyranny of twitter updates. If you want to follow my twitter feed its in the sidebar or just check it out directly .
Now to know if I should have twitter updated about posts here…but those are less frequent and less annoying.
